Education can be considered as art in the making. Following the artistic process of: subject and theme, composition, rules, work process and talent, it leads learners from basic comprehension to advanced knowledge and competence. As any artistic development it consists of past traditions, present perception, and future projections of dreams, efforts and achievements.
This view of education complements the EABHES vision in creating the perfect balance between creativity and regulatory structure that is at the core of any accreditation system.
Although the procedures that primarily are adopted in order to activate a European Degree Programme are strictly defined and determined within a specific timeframe, EABHES approach to the implementation of the ECTS is designed to be adopted by the schools as a long-term and ongoing goal.
After a school submits its initial profile description and defined interest in front of the EABHES Acceptance Board and prior to an accreditation audit, an intermediate stage of pre-audit is set in order to guarantee the correct and most efficient implementation of the accreditation process.
